Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

So here I am finally updating our blog for our families who live far away and anyone else who comes across it. Marc comes in and sees that I am fixing a picture and he asked me what I am doing.

So I answer, "updating our blog."

He replies, "WE HAVE A BLOG!"

I said, "yes."

His response, "don't you have anything better to do with your time!"

I didn't answer him!

After he walks away, I start to wonder! Well it is 11 o'clock on a Sunday night, I guess I could do some laundry or go to sleep! I have to tell you that it really annoyed me that he asked me this! What do you think??

Spending the day in Seattle!!

So Saturday Marc takes a day off! He has been working a lot lately and we wanted to do something as a family! The girls LOVE to go to Seattle, and we hadn't been to the aquarium yet so we decided to hop in the Jeep and go!! We get on the ferry and everyone wants to go upstairs except Daddy!! So he stayed in the car and we went upstairs!

When it was time to go back to the car Sophie had a meltdown! She didn't want to go back to the car, she wanted to go to Seattle! I tried to explain to her if we didn't go back to the car we wouldn't get to go to Seattle we would just go back home!! I eventually got her back in the car, and she finally settled down!

When we got to the Aquarium and got in line to go in, Sophie had another meltdown!! She didn't want to go to this place! She wanted to go somewhere else!! We hadn't told the little ones where we were going, because we wanted to suprise them! I guess that didn't work out to well for us! After we got in she settled back down! Until she had to go potty! Since Marc refuses to take them in the men's room, I took her. She was fine until I told her to wash her hands! Yep, you guessed it ANOTHER meltdown!! So I picked her up and washed her hands and took her back to Daddy!

After that we had a nice time!

They even went and rode the carousel!

Even with the fits we had a good time and we will miss our Seattle trips when we move! We look forward to what Chicago has to offer for our day trips this summer and fall!

District Champions!!

Emily has been a Wildcat for 3 years! This 3rd year was the charm!! The girls played so well together this year! They didn't lose 1 game during the season! They even won district! Emily played goalie and sweeper this year!!

They came in 4th in state!!

Sledding with Daddy, Mommy, Grandma, Grandpa, and Nonie!!

The girls were so excited Grandma, Grandpa, and Nonie were coming in for Christmas!

When the girls would talk to them they would ask are we gonna go "sledboarding" again this year like last year! They were also excited to make snowmen and have tea parties!

Well Grandma told the girls they would only get to make a snowman and go sledboarding if it snowed! Well we got snow! Lots of snow!!

Sophie is so brave! She was sliding down so fast, and she just loved every minute of it!

Maddy was loving it too!!

So much for a small Christmas!!

Ok, so I know this is a little late, but better late than never!

We said this Christmas was going to be small! I think that is an impossibility at our house!!

It came on Christmas Eve and I was worried because of the storm it wouldn't come on time, but Santa made sure his big gift for Sophie got there on time!
